Share Your Hearts: A Giveaway Celebration

It’s October and I have finally snapped into wedding mode … even experienced my first middle of the night wedding panic attack last night! With anxiety and stress mounting as well as unbelievable excitement, I find myself treasuring moments of stillness and calm.  And it seems that there is one serenity trigger that never seems to fail: Etsy. It has become my virtual security blanket. Rather than focus on my mounting to-do list and somewhat strange virtual addiction, I want to celebrate… with you!

Let’s create a personal treasury of our favorite etsy gems! Share a favorite Etsy shop in the comments for a chance to receive an Etsy item of your choice ($25 or less). There will be TWO giveaway recipients! So be sure to chime in and share your favorite picks by Friday October 8th at 10 PM EST. The recipients will be announced by Monday October 11th!

Ready!? I am! Share your Etsy Hearts! And be sure to spread the love by inviting others into our fabulous little soiree!

It has been 5 1/2 years since my wedding but I remember how you are feeling. It can be very stressful. Remember it is about your marriage – the celebration is just a bonus! My best wishes to you both.

My new favorite on Etsy is Allison Mooney’s shop. She makes unique but simple jewelry.

I am looking forward to checking out everyone’s finds.

Hello Carolyn!

My favorite shop lately has been Hijirik’s Studio Letterpress shop. http://www.etsy.com/shop/hijirik Her print, “Live What You Love” is a personal mantra of mine, and I’ve been dying to get my hands on one!

I hope you find more moments of calm as your wedding date creeps closer. I feel like it would get harder and harder to do! Etsy is always a retreat for me too…something about sitting down to enjoy pages of handmade items just instills that calm.

And that deer pillow is so freakin’ cute!

I am so excited for you both! :)
It will be my time soon, I get nervous just thinking about it ;)

Thank you so much for sharing that link, I absolutely adore the hanging water lantern mason jar http://www.etsy.com/listing/52905563/hanging-water-lantern-mason-jar?ref=fp_treasury_10

I am a freak about mason jars, never thought of doing anything like that with them.

First of all, don’t panic… it’s going to be so beautiful.

I have to say, I love all the etsy pages mentioned here. I also have favorites, one of them is http://www.etsy.com/shop/ludascrafts because they have very beautiful 20s style hats, and i love vintage!

Best Wishes

(I just write this, knowing that this giveaway is just for the US, is it.. but in any case, i wanted to write my comment and of course I will retweet your tweet!

Dear Carolyn,
congrats on your upcoming day of delight! And congrats to the man who was smart enough to find you…

Etsy is an amazing wealth of escapism, one of my favorite forms of relaxation. I enjoyed perusing my favorite categories: sea glass jewelry

http://www.etsy.com/listing/41234850/mermaids-tear-seaglass-necklace

and landscape photography, with beaches being my favorite views…

http://www.etsy.com/listing/53646999/the-morning-walk-8×8-original-fine-art?ref=v1_other_2

it was as though I was there…just perusing all the talented shops!

Thanks for the escape – both in your article, and Etsy!
