It’s oh so cold outside and my body is not very happy. I’m starting to feel a bit fluish (… and yes i had a huge bruise on my arm at my wedding from my flu shot). Rather than complain about the aches, chills, soar throat (see where I’m heading already) + mountains of work I need to get done this week, it’s time to be still and sip tea. Wherever you may be in the world, and whatever your health status, I hope you take a moment today to share in this practice with me.

C: there is something so civilized about this invitation (and the photo). I am on it and right there with you. There was this BIG flurry of activity yesterday–a whoosh!–and I just picked up the tail of it this morning (at 515a) and keep rolling. It does not have to take me flying first thing. So, I’m closing this online moment, pushing back, and having some special tea that has been sitting in the back of my cabinet for a while. Thank.you.so.much.
Sweet reminder…

Sorry to hear you are not feeling well my dear. I am happy to say that I’ve practiced this habit today as well. Glad to be in good company. :)
I need to be still and sip tea, it’s been a rough and scary week at work. Mergers freak people out to no end, I tell ya. With all the fear and rumors and stress, i’m wound up. Relaxation, that’s what I need.
I may go for some tea tonight! So relaxing
Thanks for that sweet reminder.. tea for the cold days is great!
Great article! I have been trying to drink 3 cups of green tea a day and I feel much better! It’s good to see the reasons why.
